Fairfax Ca. is the birthplace of the mountain bike and is one of the Bay Area’s main destinations to start both road and mountain bike rides in Marin County. Just west of town is the San Geronimo Valley, Samuel P. Taylor Park and the coastal town of Point Reyes. We will start our rides at the San Geronimo Golf Course, just a few minutes west of Fairfax. From the golf course you can join the formal mountain bike ride or plan your own route with help from the Dirt Bowl pros.
